Is this sentence worded correctly and should I have the question mark at the end.?
Which medication is more effective for benign prostatic hyperplasia and male pattern hair loss: A detailed look into the 5 alpha reductase inhibitors?
The question mark should be placed after the words ‘hair loss’ and there should be a full stop at the end after inhibitors.

Tatsbabe is right. ? after the first sentance. Period after the second.

I believe if you’re using it as a title and subtitle, you want either to use a ? after loss and skip the colon or skip the ? and use the colon.
Or you could change the wording to eliminate the question:
"Effective medication for benign prostatic hyperplasia and male pattern loss: A detailed look into the 5 alpha reductase inhibitors"

As far as the sentences go the other answers got it. the answer to the question is female hormones and testosterone blockers because DHT or dihydrotesterone is what causes both problems. or you can treat the symptoms for prostste and shave your head.
