Blue Sky Herbal - Prostate Care 60 Capsules

Highly potent & balanced combination of Prostate supportive herbs Helps maintain healthy prostate & reproductive system Supports healthy bladder function & clears toxins Promotes strong & healthy urine flow Strengthen the immune system The prostate is a walnut sized gland that sits just below the bladder in men and is an integral part of the male reproductive system. Made up of two lobes and enclosed by a layer of tissue, the prostate goes through two main periods of growth. The first occurs early in puberty, when the prostate doubles in size. At around the age of 25, the gland begins to grow again. This second growth phase often results in what is identified as an enlarged prostate. As the prostate gets larger, the layer of tissue surrounding it stops it from expanding, causing the gland to press against the urethra. While the data varies, it is believed that most men over the age of 45 experience some amount of prostate enlargement, but may live symptom free. This enlargement is usually harmless, but it often results in problems urinating later on in life. By 60, it is believed that 80% of all men experience some sort of urinary interference due to prostate enlargement. Enlargement of the Prostate Enlargement of the prostate is not a malignant condition, but it does put pressure on the urethra and can create a number of urinary complaints such as frequent urination, urinary urgency, the need to get up at night to urinate, difficulty starting, a reduction to the force of the urine stream, terminal dribbling, incomplete emptying of the bladder and even the inability to urinate at all. If left unchecked, benign prostatic hypertrophy can cause serious problems over time including urinary tract infections, bladder or kidney damage, bladder stones or incontinence. Enlarged Prostate and Potential Impotency It is important to take care of your prostate and address any prostate, be it an enlarged prostate, prostetitis (inflammation of the prostate) or prostate cancer

Milk Thistle Seed whole 2oz

The first thing most people think of when they hear of the milk thistle plant is the milky sap that fills its stalks. In The 16th century, the plant was quite popular, with nearly all parts of the plant being eaten. The raw roots were often eaten plain, boiled or roasted, while the shoots were boiled as a vegetable. The leaves were often treated in a manner similar to spinach, and the spiny portion of the flower was eaten like an artichoke. Indeed, Early Christians even dedicated the plant to Mary, and referred to Milk Thistle as Marian Thistle. Today however, the plant`s seeds are what have better earned the claim to fame. For 2000 years they have been used to treat liver issues, and aid in protecting the liver from toxins, with increasing scientific research as to the therapeutic and medicinal properties. Today studies have reported that the seeds can be used to treat liver cirrhosis, chronic hepatitis, toxin induced liver damage and gall bladder disorders. Milk Thistle seeds have also been shown to help reduce and eliminate liver damage. Outside of treating the liver, some studies have also shown that they can lower cholesterol levels and reduce insulin resistance for those with diabetes. In cancer treatments, some have shown that the seeds can reduce the growth of cancer cells in breast, cervical, and prostate cancers though further study is required in this matter. Milk Thistle seeds have also been shown promise in aiding with substance abuse, diminishing the withdrawal symptoms of opiate addiction This is a 2 oz packet of whole Milk Thistle seeds.

The prostate is a doughnut shaped gland located behind the pubic bone and below the bladder in males. It surrounds the neck of the bladder and the urethra, a small tubular structure that drains urine from the bladder to the penis. The prostate gland is a common site of disorders in the male genitourinary system. As men age, their prostate gland often enlarges. This condition is referred to as Benign Prostate Hypertrophy or BPH. Over 50% of American men will develop an enlarged prostate in their lifetime. Dietary supplementation of nutrients essential for prostate health have been shown to be effective in the relief of BPH. Cancer of the prostate is a common malignancy in American men, second only to skin cancer. In fact, nearly 200,000 American men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer this year. Dietary supplementation of the dietary nutrients IP-6, Quercetin and Lycopene have shown to be helpful when used for Prostate cancer. Symptoms of benign (non-cancerous) and malignant (cancero

Green Tea Rx 500mg 60 Capsule

Green tea comes from the same plant as black tea: Camellia sinensis. The difference is that green tea is steamed after picking, but not fermented. The lack of fermentation allows green tea to retain a number of bioactive substances called polyphenols.1 The main classes of polyphenols are phenolic acids and flavonoids. Among the more abundant flavonoids are the catechins (pronunciation: KAT-eh-kins). In recent years green tea has attracted the attention of medical researchers who are exploring its therapeutic potential for the following conditions: cancers of the lung, liver, mouth, colon, rectum, bladder, stomach, pancreas, esophagus, prostate, and skin1,2 B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia3 high blood pressure, high cholesterol, atherosclerosis, high blood sugar, and heart disease4,1 Parkinsons and Alzheimers diseases5,6 viral and bacterial infections7, including influenza8 tooth decay, bad breath9,10 The component of green tea that has generated the most interest is the catechin epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG). Many of the potential applications of green tea have been attributed to EGCGs antioxidant properties, but may actually involve other mechanisms.1 For example, EGCG is also a strong inhibitor of the enzyme telomerase that is required for tumor growth.11 Experiments have shown that EGCG and other ingredients in green tea can kill cancer cells while sparing (and even protecting) healthy cells.12 The concentrations of EGCG used in anti-cancer experiments have usually been higher than could be obtained in the body by the drinking of green tea.1 Green tea extracts that contain EGCG in concentrated form offer a practical way to

is it possible to younger age to have a prostate cancer?

im 20 yrs old and im experiencing a burning sensation when i urinate. i think this is a symptom of a prostate cancer

It sounds more like a urinary tract infection to me. And it won’t go away by itself. You have to get antibiotics from your doctor, and be sure to take them all, even though you feel better. If prostate cancer runs in your family, you might want to have it checked out. But 20 yrs old sounds very young. Most men don’t start getting symptoms till well after 50. The main symptom is not being to empty your bladder, and having a very weak stream.

Nutritional Support For:• Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (prostate enlargement) • Prostatitis • Prostate Cancer Protection Nearly 60% of men between the ages of 40 and 60 have an enlarged prostate gland, known as benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). The annual medical cost for BPH in the U.S. alone is over a billion dollars. Rectal examination usually discloses an enlarged prostate gland with a rubbery consistency. BPH is attributed to a buildup of testosterone in the prostate. Once inside the prostate, testosterone is converted to dihydrotestosterone (DHT). DHT is a powerful substance that stimulates the prostatic cells to multiply excessively. As the prostate enlarges it presses against the urethra, thus obstructing the flow of urine from the bladder.

Maintain Healthy Prostate Function! Getting older means paying more attention to your body. Yearly physicals can sometimes make the difference between finding a serious condition early or late. Prostate problems require the utmost attention, and you should be aware that an unhealthy prostate may mimic the same symptoms as prostate cancer. The Prostate Cancer Foundation suggests that men have their prostates checked by the age of forty. Early detection is key, but what can be done about unhealthy prostate function? What is Unhealthy Prostate Function? An unhealthy prostate causes pressure to be placed on the urethra, the tube that carries urine from your bladder out of your body. As the prostate grows, it applies more and more pressure inward, on the urethra, which may cause urinary difficulties. Signs of Unhealthy Prostate Function High frequency of urination Immediate need to urinate Trouble sleeping due to need to urinate at night Weak or dribbling stream Straining to urinate Difficulty starting Pain or burning sensation during urination Feeling that bladder is not completely empty after urination Prostatade – The Natural Solution! Natural Alternative Effective in 2 to 4 weeks May have anti-inflammatory properties May have antioxidant properties Better than Saw Palmetto May help inhibit the enzyme 5alpha-reductase No known side effects No prescription needed What is the active ingredient & how does it work? Epilobium (Family Onagraceae) is the primary active ingredient in Prostatade. Clinical studies have revealed that Epilobium Parviflorum may have an inflammation-inhibiting and healing effect on acute and chronic inflammation of the prostate and may help to reduce the gland to its normal size. Suggested Use: 15 drops, twice a day. Ingredients: ProlobiumTM (Patent Pending (Epilobium angustifolium, parviflorum, leaves, flowers, seeds) Extract. Other ingredients: Water and alcohol. Two years after finishing radiotherapy for prostate cancer I am still having a lot of pain on urinating.?

Tuesday, September 22nd, 2009

The urologist carried out an internal examination and said the bladder was "pristine"and could find no reason except that radiotherapy affects people in different ways. Will I just have to accept this. I do not take painkillers as I am worried about long term effects.

I would go and see your doctor and talk to him/her about your problem before taking any pain killers..as there maybe an under lying problem, they maybe able to give you advice what you should do.I’m not trying to scare you but..you are better to talk with your doctor.

Bladder Cancer… Has anyone gone through this??

Wednesday, September 16th, 2009

My father has been diagnosised with High Grade Invasive Bladder Cancer which has penitrated the muscle and spread to the Prostate. I know for sure that it has affected one of the Large Lymph Nodes in the surrounding area.
I’m not certain of the Stage at this time. The surgeon has said that it could be a high 2-3 or 4…
They did not do any radical surgery or cutting, as they did everything microscopic through his genitals. They removed part of the tumor from his bladder but were unable to get it all.
He has a stint attatched to the Kidney with a tube that runs to the Bladder which also has a stint attatched, this way he is able to urinate with ease.
The tumor inside the bladder is so large that it was blocking the flow of urine.
He is undergoing Radiation 5 days a week at 15 minutes a session.. he will have 30 treatments.
They do not recommend Chemo, as they feel he would not be able to withstand it’s effects.
He is 88 years old and has been in perfect health.

I have not gone through this myself, but it is my job to report and stage cancer. If the tumor invades the prostate and there is a positive node then it is a stage 4. I’m not exactly sure what your question is, but I hope this helps.

Do I have prostate cancer?

Thursday, September 10th, 2009

I’m quite a hypercondriact and think that I have prostate cancer.

I have to go to the toilet about ten, eleven times a day (at an estimate), it takes me a while before the urine starts flowing and even then is stops and starts. Also, usually after taking a dump, my urinary bladder still feels full even though I’ve urinated.

I used to experience quite a bit of back pain, but *knock on wood* that seems to have stopped now.

I used to have HSP, and that interferes with kidneys. Is this the reason? Also, I am quite an anxious person (I take fluoxetine), does this trouble urinating just have to do with a shy bladder?

I’m scared and my parents don’t think that it is anything serious, because I’m far too young (15). Do I have it? I don’t want to go to a doctor and have a camera stuck up my butt. :(

Almost certainly not.

The biggest risk factor for prostate cancer is age. Over 80% of men diagnosed with it are over 65 and half of all cases occur in men over 75.

Prostate cancer is so rare in young men that there are no statistics available for the disease incidence in men under 35.

So probably not, eh?

But see a doctor for help with the problems you’re having

prostate/urination problems?

frequent/uncontrollable urination

Chronic urinary tract infection, bladder stones, and polyps can irritate the bladder and cause detrusor muscle instability, leading to urge incontinence. Detrusor muscle instability without a known cause is also common. It has been suggested that, in these cases, an unidentified dysfunction in muscle or nerve tissue is responsible.

can you be 15 to have prostate cancer?

Monday, September 7th, 2009

i think i have prostate cancer, my left bum check has been hurting for quite a while now,, and theres like a little lump near my bladder, it hurts once in a while. I’m scared…
and i though it was because i stand alot because i work long hours
will i die? i just had a circumcision too, due to phimosis,
im 15 years old.
well its near the side of the bladder like the edge, and and near the penis,

Prostate cancer is so rare in young men that there are no statistics available for the disease incidence in men under 35.

It’s extremely rare in men under 50; over 80% of men diagnosed with it are over 65 and half of all cases occur in men over 75.

Pain in your buttock is not a symptom of prostate cancer. How do you know you have a lump near your bladder?

If your symptoms persist, see your doctor. But prostate cancer isn’t looking likely, is it?

Should I be worried about somewhat frequent urination?

Saturday, September 5th, 2009

It isn’t that frequent. Like I’m not getting up in the middle of the night or anything. I don’t think it is anything necessarily serious, especially since I am in my early 20′s. Is it a sign of a less-than-healthy prostate though? Should I be worried as I get older?
And it’s not Chlamydia. I’ve been tested for it in the past.

You say it isn’t that frequent ?? but it is obviously enough to concern you . It could be just a chill on your bladder of kidneys . I suggest you give it a week to settle down and if it is still an issue take a sample along to your doctor and ask for it to be tested for infection

Do I have bladder cancer?

Wednesday, August 26th, 2009

Guys I’m soo worried I have bladder cancer. I’ve had some tests done.. no sign of infection. I had an ultrasound and cytology done a couple of months ago and the ultrasound showed what they believe are kidney stones, but these tests aren’t accurate for diagnosing bladder cancer. Anyways I have symptoms that aren’t characteristic of kidney stones sitting in your kidneys. I have pain in my bladder a lot, pain in my bladder when I urinate, blood, frequency and now I have lower back pain. All my symptoms sort of come and go day to day. I’m freaking out I have bladder cancer or some kind of cancer.. maybe prostate or urethral. Can anyone give me any thoughts. I have a ct scan booked for 2 weeks and yes of course I’ve seen doctors.
just turned 26 years old. what a birthday.
been tested for std’s and all kinds of infection. its neither.. just for some extra info

You are absolutely correct when you say that some of these tests are inaccurate. My sister who was 47 was diagnosed with gall stones and it took weeks for her to get the surgery and it was then they discovered she had 3rd stage pancreatic cancer.Do yourself a favour and get that mri sooner rather than later to ensure a correct diagnosis. Hope it all goes well.

Triple Defense 60 Capsule

Triple Defense is a unique combination of nutrients that may help the body in the fight against cancer. Various laboratory studies performed using ingredients found in Triple Defense have shown beneficial effects in breast, colon, skin, liver bladder and lung cancer. They suggest that these ingredients may also be beneficial in the relief and risk reduction of these cancers in humans. Human clinical studies are currently being conducted including a Phase I trial at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center with women at high risk for breast cancer. This study is in collaboration with the National Cancer Institute at the National Institute for Health. Soy Isoflavones have exhibited properties that suggest they may help to lower the risk of cancer, heart disease, osteoporosis, and for the relief of menopause symptoms such as hot flashes. They may help reduce the risk of several types of cancer, including breast, lung, colon, rectal and prostrate cancer. Calcium D-glucarate may enhance the bodys capacity to resist many types of carcinogens and toxins and has been shown to inhibit cancer in laboratory animals in over 30 published cancer research journals. One of the major detoxification pathways in our bodies is called glucoronidation. It is a chemical reaction where the body combines a water-soluble substance in the body with a toxin or carcinogen and removes it from the body. D-glucarate has been shown to inhibit the enzyme responsible for reversing glucoronidation, improving the likelihood that normal detoxification processes may continue. Lycopene is the most efficient scavenger of singlet oxygen of all the common carotenoids and is able to quench free radicals twice as efficiently as beta-carotene. Current research suggests that lycopenes powerful antioxidant activity confers a high degree of protection against cholesterol oxidation, a process believed to influence prostate cancer. By-products of the oxidation

Prostate Cancer Symptoms

Tuesday, August 11th, 2009

http://prostate-cancer-symptoms.info

During a man’s lifetime, the prostate undergoes changes that can eventually lead to health challenges. Fortunately, medical scientists have demonstrated that the prostate is responsive to nutritional substances, such as certain compounds in tomatoes. Prostate TLC is an innovative supplement that combines many of the best natural substances known to man for promoting prostate health.* The National Cancer Institute has reported that DHT (dihydro-testosterone), a form of testosterone, plays a role in prostate enlargement and is believed to be involved in the development of other prostate problems. Scientists believe prostate enlargement may be controlled by regulating levels of DHT. * Unicity’s Prostate TLC contains several remarkable ingredients that support prostate health. Alphastat is a patented compound that combines two ingredients (saw palmetto and astaxanthin) currently being studied for their effects on male prostate health, including DHT regulation. Other important ingredients in this formulation include lycopene, stinging nettle root, selenium, and pumpkin seed oil.* Research Brief The male prostate is essential in human reproduction. This walnut-sized structure surrounds the neck of the urethra and bladder and is regulated by testosterone and related hormones. anybody had prostate cancer treated with radiation after years had recurrence of bladder cancer?

Saturday, August 8th, 2009

both cancers have been only localized, doctors at first didnt know if it was a recurrence of prostate or bladder cancer, they say sometimes radiation causes it thx

Hi

Sorry for your recurrence.I got surgery for bladder cancer three years ago. No recurrence. Originally treated injecting bacteria in the bladder for six weeks to target the immune system intensive work the bladder.

Three of my sisters lost their fight with cancer. They went all the way with doctors recommendations (including prohibition use of natural treatments) and nothing. On my personal case, I will use a combination. Do your own search. Is YOUR life, and YOUR body… and you are not a Ginnie pig.

Boost your immune system naturally with (Noni, echinacia, cholostrum, etc) or whatever you prefer. I use 4life Transfer factors (the best of the best in my opinion-boost 427% with only two caps and in just two days). Search and try GRAVIOLA.

Hope this help.

anyone first with prostate cancer and then after 3 years gets probable prostate or bladder cancer?

Monday, April 6th, 2009

normal PSA but they still dont know if its from prostate bladder or urether.. help
the cancer is being considered primary cancer not secondary: not a metastasis

if this person had prostate cancer three years ago and was treated and now the doctors are suspecting it came back and is now in the bladder or urethera this is very common, it is known as metastasis (meaning the cancer has spread to this area) this is why people who have gone through cancer and had therapy must be rechecked on aregular basis. You cannot be diagnosed as cancer free until you have not had any forms of cancer for 7 years. from the time of no cancer being detected after treatment until the 7th year you are considered in remission meaning body has suppressed itself from developing more cancer. Remember cancer today is nolonger a death sentence as it was once known to be. Cancer is when a normal cell during multiplication and duplication process goes freaky and continues to multiply and duplicate in a rapid fashion,(basicly "Cells Gone Wild").
